COMMON QUESTIONS

When is fall protection required in Manitoba?

  • Under Part 14 of the Workplace Safety and Health Regulation, fall protection is required where a worker could fall 3 metres or more, and at lower heights where a fall could land on a hazard, into machinery, water or through an opening.

Can you train on our site equipment?

  • Yes. PWST trains and evaluates operators on your telehandlers, skid steers, loaders, excavators, lifts and cranes, at your site or yard.

Do you train scaffold users?

  • Yes. PWST Scaffold training is valid for 3 years and pairs well with Fall Protection and Ladder Safety.
