Province Wide Safety Training Ltd. (PWST) is a Manitoba company that trains workers at their own workplace, on their own equipment. We offer three services:

1. Onsite safety training and certification: forklift, aerial and scissor lifts, overhead and mobile cranes, rigging, skid steer, loaders, fall protection, WHMIS, confined space, first aid and more, delivered at your site anywhere in Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario and Eastern Saskatchewan.

2. Health and safety consulting: practical help writing and maintaining your safety program, safe work procedures, hazard assessments and safety committee setup, so you can meet Manitoba's Workplace Safety and Health requirements.

3. Online courses: self-paced health and safety courses for companies and individuals, available anywhere in Canada.

CONSULTING

We offer professional consulting services to help employers achieve their health and safety goals through third-party support.

FIRST AID & CPR

Province Wide Safety Training Ltd. offers customized Workplace First Aid CPR/AED Training to ensure compliance with safety regulations and enhance workplace safety.

FALL PROTECTION

Our Fall Protection Safety Course, typically a one-day training, covers various topics related to workplace safety, with customizable content to suit your specific company and workplace requirements.

WHMIS

Our WHMIS training course covers compliance, hazard identification, responsibilities, label reading, PPE use, safe procedures, and chemical handling in 3-4 hours.

FORKLIFT TRAINING

Our one-day Forklift Operator Safety Course covers essential topics like forklift components, safety equipment, and proper operation.

SKID STEER (BOBCAT)

Our one-day Skid Steer Operator Safety Course covers key topics including skid steer components, safety equipment, operation, and load handling.

TRACTOR

Our one-day Tractor Operator Safety Course covers essential topics like the Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health Act, tractor components, safety equipment, operation, and load handling.

Questions Employers Ask PWST

Do you train at our workplace?

  • Yes. PWST comes to your site anywhere in Manitoba, including Winnipeg, Brandon, Steinbach and Thompson, plus Kenora, Northwestern Ontario and Eastern Saskatchewan. Your workers train on the equipment they use every day. Nunavut and the NWT are available by arrangement.

What courses do you offer?

  • Forklift, scissor and aerial lifts, overhead and mobile cranes, rigging and slinging, skid steer, telehandler, loaders and other equipment, plus Fall Protection, WHMIS, Confined Space, First Aid and CPR, Train the Trainer and custom courses.

How long are PWST certificates valid?

  • Equipment, Fall Protection, Basic Fall Arrest and Scaffold certificates are valid for 3 years. WHMIS is valid for 1 year. Confined Space, Ladder Safety, Employer Roles and Responsibilities, Safety Committee and Train the Trainer have no expiry. Every trainee receives a digital diploma and a wallet-size certificate.

Can you train evenings, nights or weekends?

  • Yes. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and we schedule training around your shifts, including evenings, nights and weekends.

How do I get a quote?
