COMMON QUESTIONS

Is WHMIS training required in Manitoba?

  • Yes. Part 35 of the Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health Regulation requires employers to make sure workers who may be exposed to hazardous products receive WHMIS education and training.

How long is the certification valid?

  • Our WHMIS certificates are valid for one year. Annual refresher training keeps workers current and supports the yearly review of your WHMIS program.

Where does the training take place?

  • At your workplace. We travel to Winnipeg, Brandon, Steinbach, Thompson, Kenora and surrounding areas, and across Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario and Eastern Saskatchewan.
