Is confined space training required in Manitoba?

  • Yes. Part 15 of the Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health Regulation requires employers to make sure workers who enter or work around a confined space are trained before they do the work.

How long is the course?

  • Approximately 1 day, including the hands-on simulated entry and practical evaluation.

Where does the training take place?

  • At your workplace or job site. We travel to Winnipeg, Brandon, Steinbach, Thompson, Kenora and surrounding areas, and across Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario and Eastern Saskatchewan.
