Is Your Safety Certification Expiring?

Safety certificates don’t last forever. If your workers were trained a few years ago, some of their certificates may be coming due. PWST makes recertification easy: we come to your site, retrain and re-evaluate your workers on your own equipment, and issue new digital diplomas and wallet-size certificates.

COMMON QUESTIONS

How long is forklift certification valid?

  • PWST forklift and other equipment operator certificates are valid for 3 years. Operators may need to retrain sooner after an incident, a change of equipment or an unsafe evaluation.

How often do workers need WHMIS?

  • The PWST WHMIS certificate is valid for 1 year. Workers also need training when new hazardous products are introduced, and employers should review their WHMIS training program regularly.

Is recertification the same as the original course?

  • Recertification covers the key content again and includes a new hands-on evaluation on your equipment, so workers leave with an up-to-date certificate. Experienced operators can also be booked for a practical evaluation.
