Key Details

COMMON QUESTIONS

Is fall arrest training required in Manitoba?

  • Yes. Part 14 of the Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health Regulation requires employers to make sure workers who use a fall protection system are trained in its use, care and inspection.

How long is the certification valid?

  • Three years. Retraining sooner is a good idea after an incident or near miss, or when the equipment or work conditions change.

Where does the training take place?

  • At your workplace, on the lifts and order pickers your workers use. We travel to Winnipeg, Brandon, Steinbach, Thompson, Kenora and surrounding areas, and across Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario and Eastern Saskatchewan.
