Is ladder training required in Manitoba?

  • Employers must make sure workers are trained to do their work safely. Part 13 of the Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health Regulation sets out the requirements for ladders and how they are used.

How long is the course?

  • Approximately 3 to 4 hours, including the practical evaluation.

Where does the training take place?

  • At your workplace, using your own ladders. We travel to Winnipeg, Brandon, Steinbach, Thompson, Kenora and surrounding areas, and across Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario and Eastern Saskatchewan.
