COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

What New Operators Learn

  • Equipment components, controls and characteristics
  • Reading data plates and using safety equipment
  • Safe operating fundamentals and load handling

Two Days, Mostly Hands-On

  • Day 1: practical training for approximately 7 to 8 hours.
  • Day 2: theory training, additional practical training and the operator evaluation (driving test).
  • Extra practical time is built in so new operators can develop safe operating habits before being evaluated.
