The importance of following and abiding by the laws and regulations set out and enforced by Manitoba Workplace Safety & Health.
The responsibilities of the employer and employees.
Students will be able to determine what hazardous products are being used in the workplace.
The responsibilities of the suppliers and how to obtain the current SDSs.
How to read labels, WHMIS pictograms and SDSs and how to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
How to develop safe work procedures and how to deal with emergencies.
How to handle, use and store the existing workplace chemicals safely.

Learn how to teach the operators how to conduct an "Operator's Daily Pre-shift Inspection" checklist
Learn how to set up and evaluate the operators based on good and safe operating techniques for your company's conditions and environment

Training is available throughout Manitoba.
Train the Trainer Courses are scheduled as needed; please contact us to make arrangements.
Weekend, evening, and midnight courses are available to accommodate diverse schedules.
Upon successful completion, Province Wide Safety Training Ltd issues a diploma and wallet-sized certificate to the trainer.
Trainers receive ongoing support and contact with Province Wide Safety Training Ltd for any future needs or queries.
